Using theme options panel, you can set “most recent posts”, any post “based on category” or “based on a specific -user defined- tag” here on featured slider. Another cool feature of featured slider is auto rotation support. By a single check on theme’s advanced options panel you can whether disable or enable auto rotation support for this slider.

What if I have many photos?

Beside featured slider, we also have an awesome photo slider that automatically grabs all the uploaded photos of a post and displays them with a nice slider on single post page. We call that slider as inner page slider and it can be set enabled as site wide as well as for a specific (user defined) tag. Check this post to see a live demo of inner page slider in action.

Did you forget videos?

Absolutely not, we know how much you like videos in your posts. We took that into consideration while building up our custom gabfire media module. So, the built-in functions will first check if you have a video included into your post. If there is any, the video will be displayed instead of a post thumbnail. Yes, video can be disabled as well. All up to your liking.

Media module has support to stream Videos from Youtube and Vimeo using their latest HTML5 supported embed codes. But we are well aware that you might want to host your own video on your server. No worries, media module supports FLV video option. You can upload your FLV format videos to your own server and display them on your site.
